Lorrianne Morrow

LPC-S, BCN, QEEG-DL, NASM-CPT, Certified Brain Health Coach

I am a licensed professional counselor, a licensed professional counseling supervisor, a Board-Certified Neurotherapist, a QEEG Licensed Diplomate, a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, and a Certified Brain Health Coach. I have had the honor of improving the lives of thousands of my clients for more than a decade in the Katy and Houston areas.

I provide individual & couples counseling for adults. In my counseling approach you will be supported and guided in an empathetic, therapeutic, and safe environment while you address your personal challenges and complete your goals. Your strengths will be cultivated, and your potential to overcome your issues will be realized. You will learn to develop positive, healthy approaches to your problems and learn to make better decisions in handling life stressors and relationships.

As a board-certified Neurotherapist by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance. I provide QEEG brain-mapping and Neurofeedback training for clients. I believe that your treatment should encompass emotional, mental, physiological, psychosocial, and behavioral needs.

I specialize in treating adults who struggle with mood and mental issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and Bipolar Disorder. I also enjoy working with couples. My approach is solution focused and goal oriented based on tested theories and methods of change.

I completed my B.A. at Texas A&M University Magna Cum Laude in Psychology and Sociology, obtained my M.A. Summa Cum Laude in Clinical Psychology from University of Houston Clear Lake.

I am a proud female entrepreneur, and a supporter of women-owned businesses. I am the owner of Houston Brain Center  and LG Counseling.

Matthew Goldman, M.D.

I have a lifelong passion for learning about the brain and nervous system. Personal experiences with mild traumatic brain injuries fueled my determination to grasp the intricacies and help others manage their brain health. Misfunctioning of the brain can be complex, vague, and frustrating for everyone at times. My favorite part of my job is helping alleviate confusion related to the brain and guiding patients towards a better state of mind.

Next year, I'll kick off my neurosurgery residency journey. Currently, I proudly serve as the Lead Neurofeedback Practitioner at the Houston Brain Center. While Lorrianne Morrow conducts initial neurofeedback consultation  sessions, I handle the subsequent training, ensuring a seamless experience and personalized therapy for each patient.

Before medical school, I dipped my toes in various waters. I was part of groundbreaking research at the University of Florida Concussion Clinic and honed my skills as an EEG technician at Shand’s Hospital. Beyond the medical sphere, I wore multiple hats: an iOS support technician at Apple Computers, a volunteer for pediatric palliative care, and a teacher for adaptive aquatics aimed at children with disabilities.

I'm excited to blend my diverse experiences with medical expertise, striving to bring innovation and empathy to the realm of brain health. I look forward to working with you soon!
