I have a lifelong passion for learning about the brain and nervous system. Personal experiences with mild traumatic brain injuries fueled my determination to grasp the intricacies and help others manage their brain health. Misfunctioning of the brain can be complex, vague, and frustrating for everyone at times. My favorite part of my job is helping alleviate confusion related to the brain and guiding patients towards a better state of mind.
Next year, I'll kick off my neurosurgery residency journey. Currently, I proudly serve as the lead Neurofeedback practitioner at the Houston Brain Center. While Lorrianne Morrow conducts initial neurofeedback consultation sessions, I handle the subsequent training, ensuring a seamless experience and personalized therapy for each patient.
Before medical school, I dipped my toes in various waters. I was part of groundbreaking research at the University of Florida Concussion Clinic and honed my skills as an EEG technician at Shand’s Hospital. Beyond the medical sphere, I wore multiple hats: an iOS support technician at Apple Computers, a volunteer for pediatric palliative care, and a teacher for adaptive aquatics aimed at children with disabilities.
I'm excited to blend my diverse experiences with medical expertise, striving to bring innovation and empathy to the realm of brain health. I look forward to working with you soon!
